CPR PRO

The American Safety and Health Institute CPR PRO course is designed to teach professional rescuers the skills of CPR for patients of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, and bag valve device); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This course teaches both Adult and Infant / Child CPR


Intended Students

Professional rescuers who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings. This course is also required by some organizations for their employees who are in contact with clients in a higher risk environment such as life guards.

This course fulfills the CPR requirements for Wilderness First Responders, EMT's Paramedics, Nurses, Physicians and other professional healthcare providers.

CPR for the Community and Workplace

The American Safety and Health Institute CPR for Community and Workplace course is a modular course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infants. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children.


Intended Students

All lay rescuers, such as employees in the work place including, office employees, councilors, day cares, wranglers, camps and guide services.

CPR for Community and Workplace for All Ages: CPR, AED and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in the adult, infant, and child.

Course time: 4 hours

CPR for Community and Workplace- Adults: CPR, AED and relief of foreign body airway obstruction for the adult (8 years of age and above)

Course time: 2 hours

CPR for Community and Workplace - Infants and Children: CPR, AED and relief of foreign body airway obstruction for infants (birth to 1 year of age) and children (1 year to 8 years of age). This course meets CPR requirements for daycare providers.
