First Aid

The Basic First Aid & Delayed Response First Aid courses by the American Safety and Health Institute can be completed in either four or eight hours. This course is a Nationally recognized program to teach people with no professional experience how to care for bleeding emergencies, shock, burns, sprains, fractures, poisoning, bites, stings, and weather related injuries. The course also teaches the student to recognize when to call 911, triage patients, and how to perform a head to toe exam while waiting for EMS to arrive.


This program was reviewed by and meets the guidelines of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration OSHA and the Department of Transportation.

It has also been accepted for training day care personnel and adult care staff in all states.

Upon successful completion of course students will receive a Nationally accepted American Safety and Health Institute course completion card valid for 3 years.

Both courses can emphasize your groups needs depending on what injuries and situations they may encounter including the Delayed Response Component. Call for details.
